Our 1:1 therapy provides highly individualized support tailored to each client’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. Each client is paired with an Instructor Therapist who delivers personalized programming developed and supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA). This individualized approach allows us to focus on meaningful skill development and provide the level of support each client needs to succeed.

Our half-day Small Groups provide a fun and supportive environment where clients can learn and practice skills alongside peers of a similar age and skill level. Groups focus on important areas such as social skills, communication, cooperation, independence, and flexible thinking. Clients have the opportunity to practice skills in a more natural, interactive setting while building confidence and relationships with peers. Small Group programming is included at no additional cost for enrolled GAIN clients, providing additional opportunities to practice skills beyond their one-to-one programming.

Mini Groups are structured 20-minute group sessions designed to help clients build the skills they need to successfully participate in a classroom or group environment. Clients practice following group instructions, attending, waiting, participating, transitioning, and responding to peers and adults. These short, structured sessions are a great way to strengthen classroom readiness while gradually increasing independence in a group setting. Mini Groups are offered at no additional cost to enrolled GAIN clients, allowing clients to regularly practice their skills in a group setting as part of their overall programming.

Our Circle Time program is designed specifically for early learners and helps introduce the foundational skills needed for a successful transition into school. Clients practice sitting appropriately, attending to a speaker, following group directions, participating in songs and activities, and transitioning between activities. Circle Time provides a fun and engaging way to build early classroom skills in a supportive environment. Circle Time is included at no additional cost for enrolled GAIN clients, giving early learners additional opportunities to develop and practice classroom-readiness skills.

We use a variety of trusted, evidence-based assessment tools, including PEAK, ABLLS-R, AFLS, SSIS, and more. Assessments help us gain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s current abilities, strengths, and areas for growth. We carefully select the most appropriate assessment tools based on each individual client, allowing us to develop programming that is meaningful, individualized, and informed by the best available evidence. Assessments are incorporated into our services for enrolled clients at no additional cost, helping ensure that programming continues to be individualized, measurable, and responsive to each client’s development.

Our Registered Behaviour Analysts develop individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) to help address behaviours that may interfere with learning, safety, communication, or everyday life. BSPs are reviewed and updated every 6–12 months to ensure they continue to reflect each client’s current needs and progress. We work closely with parents and caregivers throughout this process and, with parent/guardian consent, can collaborate with schools, other professionals, and members of the client’s support team to promote consistency and success across environments. Behaviour Support Plans are included as part of our services for enrolled clients at no additional cost, ensuring families have ongoing clinical support as their child’s needs evolve.
